Paperon Dollar$
In Italy, the name "Paperon de' Paperoni" refers to the Disney character Scrooge McDuck, the famously rich uncle of Donald Duck, and the term "paperon dollar$" likely refers to collectible scrip known as "Paperdollar" or "Paperdollari." These were printed in Milan in 1988, featured art from Italian Disney comics including Scrooge McDuck and other characters, and were distributed with issues of the Italian Disney comic series Topolino. Similar to how Disney Dollars were handled by collectors, many of these "Paperdollar" are now sought-after collector's items.
