JNPDisney presents this first issue Scrooge McDuck from 1977. This IBI Mini Bank Check was from Italy during the rise of inflation in the 1970's. There was a shortage of 50 and 100 lira coins which lasted from 1975 to 1979. Due to this shortage, candy, telephone tokens, plastic discs specific to a store were used as alternatives since they could not make change for purchases. One alternative was the Disney IBI Mini Check. There were 6 total notes issued of different characters. The first issue was printed om 6/20/1977 and showcased Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck. The second issue was printed a short time later on July 11th. This issue showcased Grandma Duck, Pluto and Goofy.
