JNP Disney presents this 1989 Disney Dollar. This is a “DA Series” note from Disney World, where the front of this note features waving Mickey and the back features Sleeping Beauty Castle. The printing process had some oversights in the quality control at this point in time. The reverse side of the $1 notes has reverted back to the 1987 design. It seems like the printing plates from 1987 were used and included the 1987 copyright. This likely went unnoticed. The legend on the front has expanded to include Disney Stores. It reads, "May be used as legal tender only at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and the Disney Stores."
