Cone Dollars

"Disney cone dollars," or Mickey Mouse cone dollars, were paper bills issued in the 1930s that could be exchanged for ice cream cones. They were one of Disney's earliest merchandising promotions, designed to build the brand's popularity in the years following the debut of Mickey Mouse.

Cone Dollars

Due to their age, rarity, and historical significance as one of Disney's earliest merchandising promotions, original Mickey Mouse cone dollars from the 1930s are highly prized collectibles. The value of these vintage paper bills varies depending on factors such as color, denomination (1, 5, or 10), and condition. Notes are often sold through auction sites and specialized dealers, and finding an authentic, well-preserved bill can be a difficult but rewarding challenge for collectors of Disneyana and numismatics. Unlike the more modern and plentiful Disney Dollars, which were produced from 1987 to 2016, cone dollars represent a much earlier and more unique piece of the company's merchandising history.
